Architecture at the Edge (AATE) is a not-for-profit organisation based in the west of Ireland that explores architecture and design in our social, political and cultural contexts.
Since its beginning in 2017 Architecture at the Edge (AATE), has developed into an organization that collates the skills of its supporting community to lead research, design, advocacy and learning programmes, adopting innovative thinking processes, and collaborative methods of working related to the field of architecture.
Over the last seven years, we have operated with the concept of participatory practices with individuals and organizations. We continue to build a strong local and international network of people and organizations, with a passion for development through architecture, design, and social responsibility.
The festival is non-profit and part of the European platform LINA supported by Creative Europe.
