Civil & Structural Engineer
Job Description:
At PHE Engineering & Architecture we have a new opportunity for a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team to work on a range of medium and large-scale projects. We are a growing, energetic company who specialize in projects from inception up to final sign off stage with an in-house team of Architects, Civil and Structural Engineers and Interior Designers.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar role with structural design and detailing experience being a distinct advantage. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a role of responsibility in an expanding practice. This practice works across residential, leisure, commercial, industrial, and urban design.
Job Requirements:
- A recognised degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Approximately 2 years structural design experience.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Knowledge of the Irish Building Regulations.
- Own transport with a full Irish driver’s licence would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering design software such as Cype or Tekla (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a requirement.
- Proficiency in CADS RC or info drainage would be an advantage.
- Experience in construction detailing an advantage.
- Experience in structural design and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high standard of spoken, written and technical English.
- A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
