Aoife Bradley
Aoife is Head of the Employment, Benefits and Pensions Team at LK Shields Solicitors. Her broad practice covers the full range of employment law issues advising on complex non-contentious workplace issues and as an experienced litigator before the courts and all employment-related fora. Aoife has a wealth of experience in employment related disputes involving senior executives and pension and employee benefit related disputes. She also advises in the area of unfair dismissal, employment injunctions, discrimination, redundancy, the protection of confidential information, bullying and harassment, disciplinary investigations and proceedings. Aoife is an officer of the International Bar Association, Employment & Industrial Relations Committee and is a regular speaker at international employment law conferences on global employment law issues.
Elizabeth Mara
Elizabeth is a senior associate solicitor in the Employment, Benefits and Pensions Team at LK Shields Solicitors. Elizabeth has extensive experience in the area of employment law representing clients in maintaining and defending actions for breach of contract before the High Court, bringing and defending actions for unfair dismissal and various other statutory breaches before the Workplace Relations Commission and the Labour Court. She regularly advises in respect of managing the exit of senior employees, underperformance, the conduction of disciplinary and grievance processes and complaints in respect of bullying and workplace stress. Elizabeth also provides training seminars to key clients on issues such as bullying and harassment and dealing with common employment issues in the workplace. She is a Committee Member of the Employment Law Association of Ireland.
Colin Gannon
Colin is an associate solicitor in the Employment, Benefits and Pensions Team at LK Shields Solicitors. He advises clients across various industries in both the public and private sectors on all aspects of the employment relationship, from recruitment and day-to-day management of the employment relationship to the termination of employment. Colin advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including contractual and policy matters, workplace investigations, dismissals, redundancies, disciplinary processes, performance management processes, employee relations issues, senior executive appointments and terminations, and he also advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions. Colin is based in our Galway office.
